Time Out je objavio popis najboljih gradova svijeta u 2021. godini, koji su temelji na mišljenju 27.000 anketiranih stanovnika svjetskih gradova.

Titulu najboljeg grada na svijetu je odnio San Francisco.

U obzir su tijekom istraživanja uzimali noćni život, restorane i kulturne događaje u svakom gradu, kao i to kakav je osjećaj zajednice u svakom gradu, što je, smatraju, posebno bitno u pandemiji. U istraživanje su uključene i ekoinicijative gradova, predanost aktivizmu u gradu te općenito ljubaznost i gostoljubivost grada.

Time Out kaže da je "nenadmašna kombinacija progresivnosti, prihvaćanja i održivosti" San Francisco stavila na prvo mjesto.

San Francisco su pohvalili i zbog odgovora tog grada na pandemiju. San Francisco ima i jednu od najvećih stopa cijepljenja u SAD-u. I usred lockdowna građani su pronašli način da ostanu povezani, piše Time Out. Hvale i to što je u San Franciscu naglasak na restoranima i kafićima na otvorenom. " Gradske ulice su trenutno nalik na jednu veliku zabavu na otvorenom", opisuje Time Out, prenosi Index Magazin.
